Hi guys,
I am after some front shocks for my 306 1999. its not lowed, and its not going to be, but i want a shocker thats better than a std shock. i was looking at some Bilstein B4 Shock Absorbers.

They are standard equipment. Why would you want uprated ones. Bare in mind these will be better than what you have as they wont have any milage on.

As the intention of Bilstein, B4 can be compareable to standard (Maybe a little bit better than std).
If you want a better performance, You can looking for B6 or more for Bilstein.
No comment for another aftermarket brand.

The B4's are decent though, I use some with Xsara vts springs, gave me about a 30mm drop and handles well
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

Any decent/ branded gas shocks will feel like an upgrade if yours are knackered. KYB or Bilstein will do a good job at standard height or even down to about a 35mm drop.
