Whos ever it was, it was fast as fck. Whooping it on track.
Stand was good, nice and central.
Seemed a lot smaller show than when it was in donnington, no way as much to see and do but a great day non the less.

This, the top 3 were all just car parks from what I saw.
DS3 UK should of won again, their stand was brilliant as ever and they didn't even get a mention. We should of been second or third.

Yeah Steve that was Doms mental 205. He was properly going for it. Properly quick driver but he has issues so had to come off early. Dont know whats happened but it wasn't a happy bunny

Must say, I've got my gripes and groans about the show this year but there we are, these things happen. I think over all the show went well and seemed like most had a fantastic time. Camping was epic other than a select few members on the first night but i think alcohol took the blame there.
Massive thanks to everyone that helped out. We only had a rough idea of what our stand would be like this year so planning was difficult. In the end, we planned it as cars arrived which wasn't ideal but it worked. We were a bit low on space but again, can't be helped. A lot of members got stuck in and helped out with the organisation of the stand and helping others out which was really nice to see. Saw a fair few new members this year which was great and over all, i think the community spirit was awesome!
Really looking forward to Pugfest now!

Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, although didn't get much sleep! Thanks again to Sam for letting me ride shotgun for most of his track time, awesome fun as always.
Thanks for Niall and everyone for organising everything; I know you do it as a hobby and it's not easy so we all appreciate it.
Attached a few of the pics I snapped, but to be truthful Saturday wasn't long enough to do it all!

two pillars. Unfortunately not quite as impressive as I thought they would be despite the effort that went into organising them and making them
one of which fell over pretty quick...and stayed there afaik

I didn't realize we already had a thread on this, my apologies.

FCS Follow up thread:
Well, how did everyone find it? Personally, Many hate it, but it's some of the most fun I've had this year. Great day out.
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for coming. The turnout was fantastic and made the stand look the business (even if the layout was a bit.. odd) Whilst we might not have had time to talk to everyone present, I think the level of social relations between club members was great.
For those of you I didn't get a chance to talk to, I apologize, and hope to catch you at the next meet (likely pugfest) or indeed next year at FCS 2016. And for those I did get a chance to talk to, thanks for the polite and interesting conversations, despite my constant wittering and confusion!
Anyway, I'm starting this thread for anyone who wants to share Pictures, Videos, thoughts, or just general discussion about FCS.
I'll start off by posting up my video :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJPKwhZ2zHY
I tried to get a fair amount of the club, but my resources and time were limited and so this is what I could do. I decided against the usual dubsteb/d&b/house soundtrack and went with something a bit different.
Hope you all enjoy it

Love the shot of Sam near the end - "ooo a camera; smugface!... and... hold it....!" I do like the effort you've gone to with the French theme there, Piggy, shame it doesn't really look like anyone else joined in.
Dom's 205 looks full on bat-shit crazy now, does anyone know if he'll be making it to pugfest?

Quarry was EMPTY! Normally heaving!
I did bring a Peugeot flag to help with french theming my car but when I saw that not many others had made an effort I had a bit of a case of CBA.
I don't just think that FCS is dying, the whole car modding scene is dying, kids aren't modifying cars any more. Have you noticed that 10 years ago the average age of people seemed to be late teens/early 20s but now the average age seems to be mid to late 20s.
I suspect the internet is killing shows as well, these days any car you like you can scroll through dozens of high res photos of everybodys build and know every intricate detail just from your computer screen so you've seen it all before you get to a show whereas a decade ago even a good digital camera was only 2mp and most people were still on dial up internet or broadband so slow that we wouldn't consider it broadband these days so you didn't get the same in depth build threads.

I remember talking to you Chris I must say, you did seem mighty tired!
From what I've seen car culture is on the up, it's just club forums that are on a downer as they slowly get replaced with facebook groups.
I think a lot of teenagers modify their cars a bit later now, due to the affordable models having a fair bit more street cred, ie: the corsa 1.2 limited. 10 years ago you'd have got one with hubcaps and a shit engine.
As adam says, spring action day was busy this year, as was Japfest. New shows around the country are springing up all the time.

Anyway piggy nice photos, awesome one of my car a LOVE it! thanks. WE should have gone in with a bit more effort from us with the french theme. Debating to do the rench flag over the roof as the lacqure is peeling anyway .
