1. Battery disconnected.
2.Stereo out.

3.There is a securing spring pin on the right of the air bag. Left inside the stereo hole. There may be a bolt to remove first to allow the sprung lever to be moved.

4. That should allow the air bag to be removed. Undo the wiring. Put a resistor in if you are keeping the airbag system. (1.8 ohm resistor .025 watt with a 2 amp fuse for overall 2.1 ohm resistance)

5. Remove the securing sprung pin by removing the two bolts on the right.

6. The air bag sits in a metal surround which is riveted to the dash. Get a drill and you can easily get through these. Leave the glove box closed and they will all fall into there which keeps tings tidy. Remove the torx screws too.

6. Once the metal frame is removed you can screw in the top glove box. However the rivet holes are larger than what the screw holes should be so its a bit wobbly!

7. Radio back in and battery reconnected. Done!
