It seems good but I think it's lackin power because a phase 2 xsi with gti6 inlet and exhaust manifold wit decat, pulls better and seems genuine faster

Does it still have standard inlet? Could be the AVAC system playing up

Welcome. Good to have you onboard and great to see the car back!
There shouldn't really be a lack of power! I always thought this car was quick for what it was. And it's not a XSI engine. It's a s16 which the gti6 replaced. Iirc they are about 155hp? Sure someone will correct me!

Jonnyb had it, it's f*cked...demand a refund.

Jokes aside, he cared for that car A LOT. Very nice setup in that and owned by a pretty decent guy.

I think you'll have to try and fit the s16 icv to that manifold then. If it's a 3 pin motor, it works in a completely different way to the gti 4 pin.

Yeah Jonny spent a lot of time and money on this car, I hope it's still in great condition.

yep, you need to take the RFS icv off, blank the takeoff and connect the pipe to the RFV ICV.
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.

Decided to put it back to avac but I did a compression test yesterday and my highest pressure was 150 psi so rebuild time I think

150 isnt particularly low, if they were all even itll be fine.

Throttle open cylinder 1 130 psi
Cylinder 2 150 psi
Cylinder 3 150 psi
Cylinder 4 120 psi
I thought with the head skimmed the psi should b around 210 psi and it also breaths really heavy

Good to see it getting some proper love and attention again, what are your plans for it long-term? Should get a project thread up. Smile
