You can. Requires alot of work and cutting of the chassis to fit gearbox in. If you look at 106 forums there are a couple on there. Saying that if it was me I would stick a turbo and a Bosch on a 1.5 d. Its been done and from what I've seen goes well.

you can. Diggerz did it a few years ago. needs custom mounts and driveshafts. Possibly some custom exhaust work as there probably isnt much room down the back as usually the exhaust manifold is at the front of a 106.

Someone did a couple of years ago.. Lots of effort required TBH, and like nailing a dead horse to the front in terms of handling. I'd look at Samass' old project, he strapped a GT15 to a 1.5 NAD. 40 PSi and lots of broken internals but certainly potential if you went for it!

Ahh okay does sound like a lot of work!! 1.5d with turbo and Bosch sounds like a bit of fun!! And gt15 on 40 psi sounds like a extreme 5 minutes!! Smile

Nope, just you and your itchy vagina.

Put a gt15 and a repair gasket on it and see what happens, when sams was working it went like hell. He did have to cut the slam panel to fit the 306 dt bosch pump though... lmao If i've got a useable turbo in the garage you can have it for a tenner lol.

I had the shitty blue sleeper s1 106 dturbo, it's mad how quick they are even with just a Bosch and t2. I guess its the weight, shame it only lasted an hour in my ownership haha. Make sure you get a decent made one! And not one that bangs against bulkhead anytime you move
