Buy decent used ones on that budget imo. Also only really need fronts, standard rears are fine tbh.

All much of a muchness then? Alpine and Pioneer ones seem to be good value and pop up quite a bit

I got alpines in the estate that I fitted recently and seem decent. Just over £30

I've had pioneers and Fli components. Neither made a worthy improvement to standard ph3 speakers/tweeters imo

I do seem to be the minority with that opinion though

Edit: best improvement was a ph1 rear shelf as they have tweeters, unlike the stealth shelf

The later ph3s with separate tweeters aren't bad, its the earlier cars with all-in-ones that are pretty poor imo.

Cheers Frosty, was looking at those ones as one of my two options, you had the rears done too or just the fronts?
