Peugeot 306 S16

Well I manned up Tuesday night!

Haven't been in a 306 or a ZX for a while but been looking all the time, been wanting a late low mileage phase 3 that i could xud but they are few and far between.

So Ruan linked me to an add on Monday, i messaged the seller straight away as i was really interested. It had loads of interest as expected and i dont think it would have been around until the weekend, so Ruan offered to take me to go and get it Tuesday night at 7pm after i finished work. Oh just the 90-100 miles away lol, got there about 9pm and checked it over. Shook his hand and drove it away!

Well i say drove it away....taxed it and insured it in Ruans Volvo in a lay by before driving it back. Could i get internet on my phone? Could i f*ck! Its so hard for a buyer to legally take home a car.

Anyway....

Its an early 1994 S16 in Cossack grey  Heart
Its done 114000 miles with 15 service stamps, having done only 550 miles since its last MOT with no advisories
Blue fleck seats and blue carpet
Completely standard, never been modified

It has a couple of issues:
Needs an engine mount or gearbox mount
Acav isn't working unfortunately
Few smaller things, mainly tidying up!

Its just a fun second car, mainly want to keep it clean and enjoy it! Hope to sort Acav or think about other options.

Comments welcome Smile

Worst photo ever haha

Love this! Think this may of been the 1 i seen on facebook. Was pretty cheap really.

Prob 1 of my favorite colors the 306s come in. Will look forward to seeing what you do with it. Best of luck getting hold of diaphragms if you need them for the AVAC set up. Peugeot dont keep have them any more. I managed to get hold of 1 from somewhere as they still had 1 in as old stock

you might be able to get that on classic insurance now, as its 20 years old now. Got to say most of the phase1 boys should be looking at this route now.
