Yea probably coming out the breather, think it's under load though as had pipe off when idling but nothing came out.
So it can be cleaned via the fuel system? Redex worthwhile, like if put it a highly concenrated amount?

Problem you'd have is the Redex would burn before it could seep down the bores. Maybe try pouring some kind of cleaning solvent directly into the cylinders through the spark plug holes and leaving it a few days? Should seep past and maybe break down the crusty oil? Starting it could be a bastard after though.

GOtta say it does sound like piston ring symptoms (with excessive blow by causing crank case pressure and pushing the oil up the breather) as liam says though I cant see much less than a rebuild fixing it.

Agreed with Liam and Chris unfortunately. Id put a drink on that being bad piston rings

You can get a replacement engine off the bay for £100 and a ring set for £65 as i wouldn't just swap the engine as the replacement will probably be just as bad
Could probably get a cam, a ported head and a set of bodies while the engine is apart. A few of us are capable of building engines, some more so than others (don't let niall supercharge it)

Well apparently it's a bit better now its had the engine flush and oil change doesn't leave a cloud a smoke when starting up. Just need to see if the oil spitting out the back will clear up once the throttle sucks up the last of the oil on the drive to combe. Will advise some redex as well since i think she fills with a mix of tesco/asda fuel
Although the cam, ported head and bodies does sound tempting. maybe if I can convince ladysteves dad that it would fix the problem

Tip for your tints if you are having issues.. Stick it against the outside of the window, and cut more or less to shape so you arent left with flailing huge amounts of surplus getting in the way
i love these things, always wanted one.

We were cutting on the outside and trying to heat it with a hair dryer to shrink it and take shape but it wouldn't
Think an italian tune up might help, can imagine it's been driven on low rpm all its life with poor servicing

You guys are all mad, since when did a 54bhp car designed for carrying groceries become cool?

Cool is not about capabilities or intentions. The original Mini was designed to carry 4 people and luggage as cheaply as possible. The Beetle was designed by Hitler. The 2CV was designed to carry a man in a top hat across a ploughed field. They're all cool as f*ck.

^^^ What he said.
Wish I'd taken some photos of Allie's oil over my nice clean white car after it was given a bit of a rev on the camp site.

So many lack of updates
It's still spitting huge amounts of oil out the back, going to try and take the rocker cover off this weekend if the weathers nice to check the gauze filter make sure that's not blocked and perhaps spray the cover up in that colour seen above as it's quite nice
One thing that has happened is a exhaust trim I got from the scrappy for a couple of quid
Thinking of getting some atf and pouring it into the spark plug holes and letting it soak over the weekend see if that does owt
