I have been asked by an eBayer if I'd package up my Rallye seats for a courier. Front seats won't be a problem but I think the rear bench will be too wide for a pallet. Is anyone able to measure a bench for me please? Mine are 50miles away...

Are they not split 70/30 in Rallyes? I'll measure mine tomorrow if no-one else has.

Can't you put the rear bench upright against the seats?
Paisley freight will courier a full interior for £59.99 if not.

Ah, fair enough. Tbh I'm surprised they even fitted rear seats, think of all the weight they could've saved!

Unfortunately not, all part of the weight saving! Cheers Tom

Was thinking they might then be too high, which is why I wanted the measurement. Need to get the guy to find out what dimensions are allowed with his courier. If not I'll suggest Paisley, thanks for that.

Yep, I am aware of that but we are now 2 hours later and he still doesn't have a measurement and there is no sign that one is coming. In 2 hours he could of driven and done it

Edit - I assume theyre the same width as 3dr seats combined, as said I'll check mine but it wont be this evening lol.

Edit Reason: Measurements added.
)
Yeah they do weigh f*ck all when you flip the base up you can feel the difference whereas the meridian split leathers would drop with a thud the rallye base kinda floats down.

When is watching transvestite arse-to-mouth porn important?
EDIT:
So I've hopped out and measured it for you and its 130cm wide
Surprisingly it weighs 7.78kg but both bits of the lower half of a GTi6 beam only weigh 7.54kg between them. I suspect I might need to put the dehumidifier in the car.

Whenever the need arises.

Thanks very much, not quite as wide as I thought they'd be. Wonder if I could get a wide enough pallet...
Yes if those weights are accurate then something's up, or Peugeot really cocked up! Maybe the rallye seats need a really good hoover!

You can get double wide pallets, there is some kicking around by me outside the pub.
Personally I'd stand them up on their ends/sides as I assume you are going to stack the seats in a L7 position on the pallet so they would stand beside.

That's good to know. I'll have a search at work and see if I can find any.

How far are they going? Sometimes cheaper to get a van to collect via Shiply. Pallet delivery is between £40 - £75.

One of the guys is in Scotland so a few hundred miles. Not sure where the other is. Don't know if I've got time to package them anyway, if no one wants to collect them I might wait til the new year to sell.
