Just wondering...
Recieved a street warning from the police last November, didn't go to the police station or anything just filled a bit of paperwork in inside the car and got sent on my way
Nottinghamshire police couldn't see it on the PNC when I got stopped there earlier this year, afaik it's only held on barnsley or south yorkshire police files?
Wondering if this will show on a CRB check? Both standard and extended ?
Cheers

Highly doubt a warning will show on a DBS (CRB no longer exists) but our resident cripple could more than likely confirm.

Also warning for cannabis won't show up. If it was just a street caution.

I suspect it will go on what level of vetting you get.
It's something I know bugger all about but I suspect the basic level covers just convictions whereas the extended level or higher level would do further research on stuff that you have been recorded as a suspect of on a crime report.
The cannabis warnings you get told that it isn't a conviction but a crime will be recorded of which you be shown accused. This is because before you get a warning the police have to have enough evidence that they could fine you or take you to court for it.

Makes sense as the policeman did say that it wasn't a conviction as such
It's for a job application I'm making and there's the chance that it will be an extended check due to the nature of the work.
I can't decide whether I should declare it and risk rejection as a result when they may not even see it on the check, or not mention it and end up that it does show on my file?
I'm all for being honest but tbh there's no point putting myself at a disadvantage to other candidates where it was never necessary to :/

Yeah I can see your conundrum. There must be somewhere online where it says what shows up and what doesn't?
Personally I'd be honest about it as as drugs is one thing but dishonesty is a whole lot worse. Maybe consider how you word it and say that it is a one off and you are happy to submit to drug testing prior to the commencement of employment. Sadly you don't have the benefit of being able to say it was years ago when you were young and stupid.

And weed stays in your system for a looooong time.
Buy a home testing kick before hand.
If it's a government job you'll probably get tested as you walk in the door, so saves the embarrassment I'd test yourself if it is

I was always advised where vetting was concerned that you're better off letting them know something that may well be irrelevant than hiding it/neglecting to say anything as honesty is a big part of the process.

3 and a half months it was still in my system when I got off it, going back a good few years.
But yes, depends on your size, metabolism, how much you've smoked etc
