lowerings springs

Can I put these on my estate?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-306-93...35c9faa645

And will they just go straight on without the tyres touching anything?

I don't see why not, they're listed as being for an hdi. Seem a slightly odd shape though imo. Might just be me. Wink

I think my estate is about 30-40mm at the front, ignore the rear though, as that's too damn low. Doesn't help that I have a boot full of work gear. Wink

Do the tyres touch or anything?

The drivers side scrubs now and then, but I'm not sure the 20mm spacers help that. Passenger side wing is ruined though, if I had a good one on, that'd probably scrub too. Be sensible with wheel choice, and dont space them out too far (mine are ford fitment, and horrific, can't wait to be rid of them!), 30-40mm lows should be no problem.

Put it this way, I had -60mm springs on my dt with 14" Harriers, never scrubbed once. Big Grin

If you search for my china HDi, that was on those exact springs. Big Grin

I certainly didn't pay that much though, bought mine 2nd hand. Wink

So those springs do fit alright then Tom? Only springs ive fitted were the ones on the DT, and they didnt have the smaller coil at the top and bottom.

As long as they dont rub or anything scrapes its fine, thats my only worry, but surely 30mm on clones is fine?

If your going by the coils on the ebay listing thats just a generic sales picture not the actual springs for a 306.

Nah had no issues like that, best springs I've had on a 306 tbh!

It does say in the description you get the 2 fronts only as the rear is torsion bar Big Grin

I did notice there was 4 actually, but dismissed it as generic eBay pictures, should have done the same for the shape tbh. Wink

Cant seem to find a decent pic but this is with the eibachs on, not exactly low enough to be scrubbing lol

55 profile. There isn't another profile for 15s on a 306.... Itwasntme

I was on GTi shocks, don't think B4s would be any better though tbh.

The Eibachs were awesome tbh...but for the price difference, unless I was going on track I think I'd probably just go for VTSs again myself.

Does lowering your car put extra pressure on any other parts?
