Thank you, it's been a slow project but with me not wanting to change much it's getting the way I want it, now to sort out the insides try and source a decent drivers seat

So after losing a wheel and damaging various parts on the car, it now sits in disarray covered in road grime back on the dirtiest of cyclones, time to vamp it up a gear and get her ship shape again
The search is on for a wing and front bumper in moonstone, currently having a set of hubcentric's machined for the fronts and going over to a stud conversion, also on the list of to do's order the bilsteins raise the front 20mm as it has settled and is too low for my drive, fit the newly acquired headlamp protectors sort out the sticky caliper, refit 17s and give her a damn good wash polish and wax

Doesn't look that bad tbh mate, at least when your wheel came off it didnt do the same kind of damage I have on my estate! Not that i'm in a mad rush to fix that, it doesn't affect the performance of the car, and there are more important things to fix first! Big Grin

1 of 131 left though this one won't last long once it's had its day out 4x4ing

Gonna take a side on tomorrow and decide wether it's the wing throwing the colour out or its had a new door at some stage of its life, any tell tale signs I might spot to decipher if it's had a new door??

Thanks I'll have a read up, still have running issues spent all day Saturday fiddling with the barbie truck but still playing up, we have it running now but still hunting and stalling itself and no amount of right foot pumping stops it dying!!

Not been on in a while, quick update car is booked in for some paintwork, wing, side skirt repairs, front bumper, 1 wheel refurbing,
Also gone and bought a 2nd vitara at a snip of 350 with over 3k of calmini extras so that has taken priority over the 3oh, but she'll be sweet for a few shows this summer catch you all soon when I've got more to talk about rather than a mucky ol'vit

So I ignored all my own advise and ideas and used this as a daily chucked loads of miles on her and generally lost interest due to moving starting up off roading and eventually buying a French bulldog, a slight school boy error has given me the go to get her ship shape again, progress will be slow but time to pull my finger out first up major service then the rear suspension to be sorted I have a few niggly bits to sort out too wiper motor playing up and a bent exhaust, also been quoted 400 to have some areas sprayed it's almost hit 160k time to show her some love again

Don't worry, my towing eye is bent too, going to cut it off, and fit a strap instead. That way it can never happen again Smile
