Trying no to bore everyone to death.
Bought as a totally standard cheery red ph1 DT
engine out, tied up, cambelt, pump, hdi box, fit the turbo and few other bits
low milage GTI6 beam
Engine back in
bosch pump, FMIC, FMOC
Fully stripped back and undersealed just incase
full stainless exhaust
Repainted all the rub strips matt black, sick to death of using back to black type stuff to stop them going grey!
Twin optics, yellow headlights, sidelights, full beam, and foglights (somewhere)
Finally on the road
Was in magazine for being funny colours I guess
My "to do" list at the moment
Get this bloody pump fueling right! doesn't seem to fuel the boost over 3k in any gear over 2nd ... not a clue
new manifold
got some morettes and smooth tailgate to go on at some point
Get the thing rolling roaded and fine tuned when I'm happy with the power

Looking good man, I likey. Just another thought about the fuelling on boost, are you sure the LDA is setup/working right, so the pin is travelling all the way down, spring is too high, etc etc?

you change cars, weather dependent!?
surely you could have modified an enclosed filter so the bottom was cut out or something..
