Good work Tom

You'll wish you changed the gear oil seals while it was out of the car lol.... So much more difficult in situ!
But I'm glad you got it sorted and back on the road, nice one!
09-08-2014, 10:29 AM
Lol I bet it will be mate
Failed the mot this morning, needs a new balljoint, new cv boot, and handbrake needs adjusting Also got brake load sensing valve seized what's the best way of sorting this out?
09-08-2014, 12:26 PM
plus gas or wd40 the pivot pin and work it in til it frees up this is a common issue
09-08-2014, 05:10 PM
That's alright then now where can I find this pivot pin?

blahhh what is with this car. What happened?

Engine issues again
Was driving perfectly fine pulling well, went over a couple of speedbumps (not for the first time that night and the same ones) cruised along 3/4 mile at 25 ish up the road went to put my foot down and wouldn't pull at all Pulled up and it's hunting between 800 - 1k revs sounds like one of the cylinders has an issue doesn't appear to be any obvious air leaks Tried unplugging the lambda which made no difference Not too sure why it would suddenly drop off like that unless something's come unplugged Found that unplugged but can't find anywhere that it'd plug in
14-10-2014, 08:45 PM
That plug, I´ve seen thousands of people asking where the f@ck it goes, and answer is also the same, has no where to be plugged! Thats what i´ve found almost everywhere. Mine has that plug hanging there also. Might be for heated throttle body?
One question, im very interested in some things you have for sale, but cant post there, neither send mp. Can I just ask you here? To make things easier, i´d them to be shipped to Uruguay (of course is on me), but maybe you dont ship. Thanks

Not sure if you have got this running properly yet but if not, start it up, get it to idle then unplug a coil at a time with it running. If you unplug one of them and it doesn't make any difference to how the car runs, that coil is dead

Wouldn't have a clue how much it would cost to ship anything out there though

And the cam covers apart? Thanks mate

Ok, after the Bare gti inlet manifold and the cam covers only, I´ve just seen the throttle body is sold. If you could tell me the weight, of manifold and covers I can check at ParcelMonkey for a quote. Im really interested!
Thanks
