Done 200 miles on the engine soo far, running at around 30+ psi. Clutch is slipping at high rpm.
It's still very driveable off boost and I swear my mpgz has gone up.
Also Costco are selling veg oil at 64p/l bargain! If any one local needs any I may be able to get you some, obviously bulk orders not just 1 or 2. I could fit possibly 10 at a push

£200 posted, felt like crying after I had ordered it.
Mind you the local motor factors wanted 300 + vat

I've got a gti rad lying about, but after a good think I opted for a dt rad. I didn't think the gti would cope

Huh?
Is there any reason why it specifically has to be a 205 rad? Why not buy a bigger aftermarket rad for something else and "make it fit"?

Yes you will be able to fit a universal one but the hoses need to come out in the right place and need to make sure the fan switch is there aswell so would be easier to just get one made for the car

Why do the hoses "need to come out in the right place", can just buy hoses and direct it where it needs to go?
Look at this bad boy for £480.

Standard CG tbh, don't know why the hell people keep buying them, they're beyond shit. Surprised that snail fits in there quite so neatly, good job!

I didn't read up properly before ordering it really.
Not impressed with the initial customer service I received, after a bit of moaning and speaking to some one else, I've managed to get a replacement.
Thanks for the good words. Was a squeeze!
