Shame about cooking the engine mate, hopefully shouldn't be too long to get the new one in [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
Did you find the baker bm linkages made much of a difference over the oem ones?

They seem a bit tighter but tbh I didn't get them very tight on fitting as I was rushing so can't comment really

Was looking at the matrix pipes today, and was thinking the clip looks like its not seating properly anyone have a picture of how it's supposed to seat
Or a part number and price for that clip?

It doesn't look like the o ring has gone in as it should which means the pipes haven't gone right in so the clip won't seat as it should

Not massive force, have the o rings half way down the heater matrix pipes going in and have some lube/spray on the o rings to help them slide in

Yeah you need to lube them up, I made the mistake of no lube and too much force which didn't end so well...

Bit of an update, new engine went in this weekend just needs to be connected up and put everything back together
Few little bits done while its been out, new baker bm engine mounts, new clutch and throttle cables, new clutch bushes, new clutch, new cambelt, new cv boot and a full service will be done once its running again also cleaned up a lot of stuff in the bay and freshly painted a few bits.
Starting to come together now

Well she's home, few teething issues but she's booked in for mot at 10.00
Had a leaking injector yesterday because the seal had split so replaced that and have also got a leak from the gearbox which I think could be coming from the driveshafts so is probably the seals
In the bright side is brilliant to drive as its had new clutch and throttle cable, new clutch, new clutch bearings, baker bm engine mounts and gear linkages
