Hi all,
Just thought I'd show what I've been up to today.
A friend of a friend wanted some bits doing to his car, blue led's, amp and sub fitting.
The led's aren't really my thing but each to the own.
What do you lot think?
I've told him he needs to get some better sidelights.
I do like the way the blue has a bit of uv in there and the way it makes a couple of bits glow but it's looking chavtastic.

That's ok matey, it's not my car and I really didn't to that the most. They're on a the light circuit but have an override switch, I made sure of that as he is going to get so pulled for them.
The amp is awesome but the sub is really old and not that great.
The blue led's inside the car proper make your head spin out, really strange sensation.

Totally agree with that, that is all the led's he really needed. Less is more!

I was gonna say, i had a similar setup in my old 1.4, and white LED's in the DT...if done right it can look quite nice (not necessarily in blue, wont be doing THAT again in a hurry! ), but the LED's in the grill in this case are just awful, and asking for a tug from the old bill.

It's illegal to have forward facing blue lights anyway tbh. But I agree, they are awful, another Mk4 ruined, though it looks like its only an SE anyway so no great loss.
The amp install does look good though!

I like the blue interior lights, I've always thought they were cool even though a lot of people call them chav.

As everyone else has said those front leds are terrible and illegal. I thought it was blue lights anywhere in the car not just the front!

I never got in trouble for my blue interior lights, but then i never drove down the road with a door open! As long as they aren't on while you're driving, i dont see them being a problem tbh...
