Looking good on the track dude.
Always keep an eye on this one.
BTW those beemer seats are still in my shed. Didn't look like they would mount safely in a three door,different mounting points n ting.
Still worth a few beers though and it looks more promising that they will fit the berlingo.
Cheers.
Danny.

Well I've had a pay day spending spree.
£130 worth of exhaust
£17 for 2 flanges
£40 worth of battery cable
about £100 worth of sundries like a battery box, air filter and another 3" v band clamp.
And £25 for an oil line on monday.
Just need bits to arrive so I can nail it all together now.

Its just easier to buy a battery box for a tenner dude.
The exhaust is in parts, Got enough to do the link ppe between manifold and turbo in 45mm mild and the exhaust in 76mm mild steel all the way back to just before the fuel tank. I can't afford the last few bits of exhaust to make the full 3" system as its The best part of £100 for the silencer I want plus 3x 45* bends and a little bit more straight.

Its not too loud especially with the monster silencer I'm going for. Will just be a single silencer system though, the last one I had you could drop a tennis ball through from turbo to tail pipe.
Heres one on the HDi

3" is the obvious choice for me as the turbo outlet is effectively one side of a 3" V-band. If the turbo wants a 3" then the turbo can have a 3"

I bought mine too long really, just looped it up around the inlet manifold inner branches. Yours is going on the gearbox though isn't it? will need a bit of length for that.

Yeah I'm sure I can loop it somewhere if necessary or even go under and over the turbo and use the drain to keep the feed away from the hot side.

So had some more shinys turn up today
Do you wonder what came in this very large jettex box?
[attachment=17925]
Yep, this shiny pile of bends, thats enough for the link pipe and the front half of the system (bar flanges)
[attachment=17926]
Also battery box and wiring for the battery relocation which is the good 240amp/35mm2 stuff.
[attachment=17927]
Shame the wiring is so heavy.

Ive seen a box like that before roll up to mine. Lovely new pipe to weld will make life easy. It will surface rust though (looks mild steel)...get some paint on there when fabricated!
That estate is going a roar when the vanes open.

That estate is going a roar when the vanes open. Yeah gorgeous fresh steel. Sadly can't paint it as I won't have money for paint this month. Not sure how good the noise will be till I can afford the proper back box

My neighbor recommended this to me after he painted a motorcycle exhaust with it.
Used about 1 and a bit cans from the turbo to the backbox on my 206, hasn't flaked off and still looks fine.
Don't know if you can get a more 'larey' colour, suited to you though :S

Start date may of been slightly f*cked by having to do a course for work on my next days off and needing the car each day.
