alternatives to boost pipes?

20psi!!!
i have been looking around at boost pipes, (2.25inch) and have not found any reasonably priced one..


has anyone used a suitable alternative to the fabled polyester reinforced silicon jobbies?

i did have a quick chat with a guy from a pond place, they sell thick, rubber, heat resistant 2.25inch ID connectors for pond application, thought this might have some legs in it.

well, we had some pretty beastly tumble dryer hose...

steel banded, reinforced and stupidly thick (like really big hoover hose hose)

Have a look at Wiggins / hydraflow clamps - everything else will seem cheap then!

I used plastic pond hose before, stood up well with 28psi, but eventually split after months just after the blower from heat. If you can, use steel pipe, and then just join where needed with silicone.
