gave the new shell its firs clean! not a full blown one yet as I need to replace a driveshaft fit my coilovers and replace both ball joints, also put some standered rear lights in as the tinted rears didn't look right on a dark coloured car
both old and new together I will be de wipering it asap and putting my mongoose on with decat as this one sounds horrid! also my mum has decided to call it shelly or Sheldon next update will be all of the above fitted and sitting lower on the front

It's a wiper Sam, they come in handy when you have a dirty window and need to reverse...cheaper than body work lol
Can't wait I to see the finished product the smokey old bus that sounds like a tractor...

cheers chief! I do miss the sound of an asbo exhaust need to adjust it a bit as its vibrating on the beam :S
well its update time: after a very good weekend at pugfest, seeing and speaking to a few of you the gti hasn't really changed much, apart from the backerbm oil breather kit, backerbm gear linkages and some nimrods from frosty which I'm currently refurbing. a bit of bad news though the gti has been put on hold for a while as I've lost my job but I have just applied for my provisional for my HGV so onwards and upwards!!
day before pugfest still have a leaky bottom hose at the moment and the drive shaft seal is leaking on the long shaft :/ any way after fitting the oil hoses I had the urge to clean the rest of the bay I also have bought a secret shiney thing which is going to be a lot of fun! not going to say a lot about it until I get the rest of it to be fitted before any says anything its not a charger!! I have told a couple of people but I hope they don't say anything

Update:
well as couple of you no I lost my job at Kwikfit, which tbh did kind of do me a favour. Anyway after looking for a job for a couple of weeks I ended up back at my first job at Pizza Hut :S which kind of lasted 4 days!! Well helping pug performance move down to Thruxton race track l, me and james were talking about my 'employment' issues I was having as I needed money but didn't want to leave the motor trade all together. So got a message that night from James saying when did I want to start at pug performance!!!! I was over the moon!! So the gti hasn't really changed, I have ordered some pro race 1.2's In silver but are talking a couple of weeks as I want direct fit, none of this spacer bollocks!! I have a few ideas up my sleeve but at the moment it's paying of the bills that are important then it's play time for the astor

Great stuff mate, bet your well happy to get job at pug performance!

Wow this needs updating! Well had a few bits changed on the gti now, footed my backer gear linkages, serviced it, found out my injectors are slightly tapper but to be honest I'm glad the head isn't tapping, probs the biggest update is I have a set of silver pro race 1.2's now and a set of sparco buckets to be fitted on the weekend! Got a big list of parts to get :/ pictures soon as soon as I take a couple more......
