For Sale: Gauging interest! PH3 XUD Break or sell!!
#1
Right, so its time to sell the moonstone 306 ive had for around a Year now due to buying another ph1 Heart
I currently unsure whether to sell whole or break for parts. Tax and mot are out end of the month so if i was to sell I'd sort a ticket out and stick 6 months on it.

The spec is,

2000 (w) moonstone hdi dturbo shell covered 190k ish
Full xud conversion 100k on engine and box.
Stripped lump, every gasket/seal replaced with victor reinz parts including head gasket/bolts
New valeo clutch
New cambelt
Garrett gt1752 saab turbo on modified manifold
9mm modded bosch setup
Ford tdci intercooler front mounted with hard alloy 2' pipes
63mm custom intake piping
Manual boost controller
Toyosports breather tank
2.5 inch mild steel exhaust system to scorpion rear box

Estimated 160/170 bhp (really does pull well)

Half leather interior
3 gauges in din slot
Relocated head unit
Leather wheel
ph2 DT clocks with moonstone insert

Saxo vts wheels bmw graphite grey new 195 45 15 tyres
Gti6 Brakes new discs pads
Refurbed beam new discs pads and handbrake cables
Ta tecknix coilovers new top mounts and Rear shocks

Black masks
Dturbo spec bodywork
Tinted lights on rear

Rev counter not working
Bodywork average, does clean up well though
Rear.arches chipped paint from rolling
Rear.beam mount knocking (annoying as checked and.felt ok when fitted beam)
Drivers door not the best paint wise
So id be after 750/800 as is with the tax and mot done

Other option is to break up for parts.
Not sure which route to take yet

is it not worth getting a cam belt snapped phase 1 or similar for peanuts and swapping all your bits over? . .Smile

He's already got the PH1, Matt.

It would be a shame to break it, seemed quite decent when I was looking at it. I'd be interested in the FMIC and associated parts if you do go down that route.

If I didn't already have a XUD I'd be interested.

Don't think you'll have much trouble selling tbh.

How's it feel over B/A roads? Does it feel ok over bumps and uneven road?

Most of the roads I commute along are sh!t..

Ive learned to live with how TA coilovers ride, it sounds harsh over really uneven roads due to one of the beam mounts, they always sound worse than they are though

What parts exactly are you keeping; anything essential to the running of the car?

Hmm with the price I was offering you could buy new parts for the new car Doh as well as keeping yourself more money that you'd get for breaking! Dayum..

I'm not looking for advice, but thanks for the concern Wink
Hassle looking for another bosch setup that's a known good pump, also finding/building another refurbed beam,
Coilovers maybe sold anyway if i can find some 60mm springs
