So a friend of mine's turbo has died on his Grande Punto 1.9 Multijet.
AFAIK they've got a GT179V on as standard.
Very n00b question, but would a GT1752V bolt straight on? Or could he upgrade and go GT20??V without any hassle? Just wants to bolt straight onto what's already existing.

difficult to say...
a lot of turbos have inlets/outlets specific to that engine/model of car.

The turbo's look integral to the manifold so I doubt it or at least not without some bodgery.
