I can't see mine, and it bugs me!
It's all clean, but I just wanted it on and ready to go rather than having to strip it to repaint
Painted the trailing arms though, so it's just the slightly faded arb that's looking out of place lol

Few more parts for the ever growing "to put on" pile
Ph1 gti6 seats (rears too) as I hate the ph3 ones I currently have
[attachment=15854]
Got my new exhaust unwrapped, I'll give it a polish one night this week :-)
[attachment=15855]
And a nice bag of gti6 engine parts to get powder coated, also a rallye aux belt setup so I can bin the useless aircon

I just like to get it all ready to do in one hit. Nothing annoys me more than changing something then having to wait till next payday to do the rest of the job for example.
Hoarde like there's no tomorrow then spend a weekend fitting everything :-)

Got all the brakes fitted and new pads+discs on
Polished up the Magnex
Then fitted :-) got myself a perfect condition genuine cat so that's gone on there too
Have to wait until tomorrow to hear it as the battery was flat :-(

Brand new discs, have that protective silver paint on them to stop them rusting
Don't see the point of cleaning it until all the parts are on :-P

Left the cat on dude, spoke to a lot of '6 owners about their opinion on cats and decat, seems they lose midrange torque with a straight pipe which is probably my favourite thing about this engine.
Also keeps it legal and easy to mot lol
I personally love the rasp of a Magnex, to me it's the classic Peugeot valver soundtrack, plus this exhaust is crazy light! The cat back section seems to weigh about as much as the standard backbox!

Yeah I love the magnex sound on a 106/rallye/saxo but magnex use a 2.5 bore on the 6 so get max power but max boom with less raspy hence why the 106's ones are so rasy because the bore is like 2 inch???
Yesh with mine It was lack low down torque but for what I use it for its certainly the best system..

I think the one I took off probably weighs more than your average one anyway because of the amount of welding done on it haha.
Looking through old mot's, blowing exhaust had been an advisory for the last 3 years haha.
The entire exhaust and box was basically made out of patches and pigeon shit welding haha

I put it next to the 2" supersprint off my rallye and it makes it look like a peashooter in comparison haha
I'll just have to drive it enthusiastically everywhere to keep it sounding good then haha
Matt is decatting his rallye soon so I'll have a go in that (with matts kind permission :-P) to pass judgement on whether the cat stays or not.
Dum-Dum, if you read this, I think your rallye has the same exhaust as this? The ear bleedingly loud one?
