S1 106 dturbo (sleeper)
#1
Right picked this up for £250 from a lad in belper who has done most off the hard work fitting the 1.9 engine and looks a really gd job from what I can see. Plans is taking the front mount off for time being till I can find a smaller 1 fitting a 11mm Bosch then a s1 xsi body kit then full respray does need a lot off body work and needs to go a lot higher as what as shit job trying to get it any we're as sump is about a inch of floor. This is a long term project as I am going in the army so not rushing it Big Grin enjoy

Why do people bother fitting XUD's with Lucas pumps, it makes no sense. After going through the hassle of transplanting you think they'd want a half decent pump on them!

Should be good, that FMIC definately needs changing as you say!

Theres only so far Lucas pumps can take you.

It'll feel better being in a lighter shell naturally.

Don't get me wrong Lucas's can still give some go, but they're nothing compared to a decent setup bosch.

You manage to aquire an 11mm from your previous breaker for it?

NICE I'll keep an eye on this I knew the chassis had to be notched. Weird bit of information I've retained and yet never done the conversion. Would love to see this. Subscribed and will keep an eye on with this one Smile

Looks like the previous owner cut the end off a standard xud9te inlet, capped it, cut a hole in the middle and put a pipe take off from there.

Are you sure those 306 seats are on custom mounts, the fact that they look like they are leaning over to the side slightly suggests that they are just bolted in on standard 306 sub frames

Sorted the pump out today and set it up need to sort out a new battery relocation wire as it's not thick enough and does struggle to crank engine over enough

Leave it as a shed and gearbox mount that shit
With a vnt

It's a base model shell so pointless trying to improve it imo, sleeper is far more win
