Trying to figure out wasson with my car so wanted a few other peoples to compare if anyone else with a 205 could join in aswell as the zx guys this could get interesting. Bit sad that i started this thread and cant remember what mine is. I think its about 3.1/2krpm @ 70mph
What about you?!
Edit: Obviously in your top gear...

Tom your 205 has the same size tyres that my ZX originally had fitted. They use a 60 profile on a 14 where as a 306 uses a 65 profile. I am actually running oversized tyres for the ZX, should be 50's on 15's but barely makes any difference.
So a Dturbo on original tyres (185/65/14) is at about 2.9k @70mph iirc

I looked on a wheel fitting website and the difference in rolling radius between ***/50/15 and ***/60/14 is something like 2% literally sod all of a difference.

Surely the speedo will read the same no matter what tyre/wheel combo you have...unless you using GPS for accurate speed?!
Anyway:
2.1 306, hdi box, 70mph @ 2500rpm in 5th

Tyre size wont affect what your speedo reads. only model and gear box
Any 306 with a HDi box will do 2450rpm at an indicited 70mph

How does that work? Did you use the BE1 diff and 205 driveshafts?
Mines running a BE1 (1.8NA) box and it's the worst thing imaginable.

I got a xud9 gearbox in mine. I just used a 306 inner end on the short driveshaft works fine.

Revs are right im sure of that, been driving xud long enough to know when your cruising at 3K. Again been driving long enough to know im not doing 70mph when it says 60. And the box came from a d turbo that worked fine in that car
Sorry if i sound like im blowing my own trumpet there
