Subbed!
Love Mk2's. Pity I'll never, ever be able to afford one nowadays. There's not much compares to seeing one of them howling broad-side thru a forest stage

Quite rare to see a 4 door mark 2 these days!
The 1600 crossflow engines seem to get good results with some decent carbs and head work, 180bhp is certainly achievable
Thought much about suspension? I know lots of rally boys who use capri rear disc axles.
I'd love a retro ford, just wouldn't be able to deal with the retro ford premium price tag that parts command

Alright gents I'm back from work and seeing as your all interested I''ll give you the intended spec.
Engine:
1660 xflow engine, stage 2 cylinder head , bronze valve guides , double valve springs, 38dgav carb, 4-2-1 branch manifold, gt camshaft, acrolite pistons, steel crank, high pressure oil pump.
Type 9 gearbox
Suspension.
200lbs springs, Billy shocks, single leafs on rear, watts linkage, poly bushed all round.
Axle.
Currently running standard English will fit lsd and save for fully floating baby atlas.
Brakes.
Princess four pots but saving for wilewood four pots, braided lines, drums on rear.
Interior.
Full cage with door bars, buckets with harneses, navi foot rest, light, timeing equipment. Central Ali console with oil and fuel pressure gauges, volt metre and fuses and switches for everything. Bias pedal box, flocked dash.
12g Ali fuel tank in boot, duel electronic fuel pumps, batter secured in boot box, braided fuel lines running inside of the car.
Other.
Sump guard, cibie spots, big header alu rad with silicon hoses.
Think that's everything.
