Tempurature clock to non temp clock
#1
I've noticed theirs a temp clock and a non temp clock that goes in the centre consol.
Can i just swap them out and put the temp dials in or is it more involved?

You will need to fit the sensor too.

Sensor is in the passenger wingmirror iirc is hard to swap, possibly easier to swap your wing mirror for one with a sensor. Rather than trying to fit one to your current.

The sensor is a little black lump on the under side, I think pug put the wirin in for it even if you don't have it so think its just the case of popping a new wing mirror on and put new click in Smile

As Matt said the wiring should be there but just check before you swap it over!

You don't have to replace the entire mirror. The sensor is in a little plastic cover that covers the screws on the bottom of the mirror.
Unplug the mirror and see if the car side loom has 2 more wires than the mirror side loom (assuming you have electric mirrors). If so, should be ok.

Swapping the clocks is the easy bit, the plugs are the same & everything, it really is as simple as removing the bottom dash fascia and removing 2 screws Smile

For the temp sensor you can either try swapping the mirror and hope that the wiring is there or splice a new pair of wires into the wiring at the back of the clock and run them to wherever you want the sensor to be (mine is on the back of the front tow eye behind the bumper) and 5 finger discount the sensor from the passenger mirror of any Peugeot/Citroen in the scrappy that has 1, connect it to the end of your pair of wire you have just installed and cable tie it out of the way...........job done Smile

Its literally like a little black lobe under the passenger wing mirror! If it has this the the wiring should all come with it!
