Know they would start
Wait till you get on track, mine did constantly. Weird though reverse and brake, they never squeel.

I will probabley do combe if I come to fcs but got other things to put my money towards at the minute.
Hight isnt really an issue to be honest its not as harsh as some cars I have had. To be honest I think I could do with stiffer springs if anything.
News on what engine build? Or do you mean on getting my inlet on? Just bought some silicone water pipes so I can get on with fitting R5 alloy rad at some point and a top glove box to get rid of the big hole in my dash where the air bag use to be :lol

Yeah if seen a saxo vts with 75k tax and ticket so maybe shifting the focus soon as the astor's done.
Do you have anything loaded on to the ecu yet so you can getting It running?

No av only just picked it up today. Loom is for a 106 so needs modified to suit my car. Also mapped for a 106 gti with jenveys. Base map is around £30 unless I can find someone with one who can send me it for free. Still need coil leads yet too

Eddy good to see you over here from the 6 forum. Car looks great!
I can help you with a map for the Omex for a small donation to the forum
Edit: Also, if you wanted a base map just to start it, Omex will happily send you one for free if you speak to Guy but most of the time, the car will barely idle on them let alone drive.
Also, you want Corsa B 16V leads for that coil.

Only issue with the leads is the seals don't sit in the holes in the head properly but other than that, they fit fine. On mine, i can slide the covers about so i may take half inch off the bottom of them and slide them down then they will seal.
Ive got a Omex map for a standard GTi engine. If I'm honest, its a pretty poor map but will do the job until you get it properly mapped.

Yeah I remember Richard doing the work on these intakes originally and it took a lot of time to get to the right point.
Where did you get the engine?

Chris manning, yes I get the engine from him. It hasnt been set up well to be honest, cam timing is out and he still owes me an exhaust cam as one in this engine is damaged where the vacuum pump sits in. Still waiting on a reply from him as he said the cam was sent out last tuesday and still nothing has arrived yet!
Omex wont be going on till im about ready to fit my inlet and get mapped. No major rush juat yet.
