Not bad. Think I might put it in a non ported box so it's a bit punchier.

Nope 6.5s. They sound fapping amazing. Just need to do a bit more sound deadening as there is one bass note in one song that still rattles the doors lol

Is it a pain to fit 6x9's to the phase 3 parcel shelf?

Don't fit 6x9s. I don't care what anyone says, there crap for a car like this. Spend the money on a decent speaker setup for the front doors. I've only got focals In the back because I had them spare. Now there all amped, they sound fapping amazing but if you put 6x9s in there, you will just draw the sound stage backwards.
Anyway weather was so nice today I set about cleaning the car then busted out the polishing mop. Only went over the car with a very light cut and polish. Still needs waxing though!
Poor picture quality because the suns shining right at it but it's so shiny compared to how it was. Falling in love with my car again! Haha
Oh and then some dick got in the way of more photo whoring

Looking good Niall. And cant agree more, 6x9's are wank anyway, let alone in a car like the 306.
The speakers are naturally in such a place in 306's, that the sound is predominately towards the front of the car anway. Get the fact that 6x9s are pointless out of the way, and you are left with the sound stage being in the wrong place within the car. Get a decent set of speakers up front, and if budget permits, in the rear and your laughing.

You know you will never get rid of that rattle (if it is the song we were playing ealier?) as it hits nearly every frequency available to speakers lol. 8-)

Got new valves. And don't worry. The old mans showing me how to do it all so he can show me on 15 and I'll do 1 lol
Just gone to halfords, got some new pads, fuel and oil filter and 5 litres of Mobil 3000 fully synth oil for....40 quid!
Oil was only 18 quid on trade. Cheaper than the halfords crap!

I know. I was messing. It will be bloody hard work and I will be wishing I had a TU engine but will be a good learning curve and hopefully will run much nicer in the end!
