Well...
Ive been busy. In the last 5 weeks ive had a saab 9 - 5 2.3 Turbo, a volvo v40, subaru impreza and today ive collected a dturbo. 400 sheets, done deal. 107k 5 door.
Pics are from the advert.
Totally bog standard.
Good points.
Solid engine runs well.
No rust or rot that I could see.
Bad.
Heater controls are f*cked. No blower, heat or vent change.
Boost leak. Can hear it hiss.
Brakes are shit.
Um... other than that.
Well happy.

Yeah. Lower than stock, thus reducing off boost smoke.

Disconnect the battery, wait quite a few minutes, and then reconnect the orange plug under the driver's seat.
It its very likely to just be this coming loose.
Resist the tempation to not bother disconnecting the battery unless you dislike your neck being correctly aligned.

I did the same thing just now and other than disconnecting the battery and waiting a while (did something else) the time involved in plugging the plug back in was probably a few seconds.
