Brake bias valve (any real use on track car?)

Hi guys. As some of you know I have a 306GTiV6 which is used for weekend fun and regular trackdays.

Its winter, my tinker time of year so the car isn't being used, just developed! ;-)

Just considering losing the rear brake load limiting system and fitting a lever or knob style bias adjuster in-car.

Do you know if its worth the hassle?

I would do, if its stripped out then the rear won't need as much power as the standard system gives it. Also if you have an adjuster in the car you can compensate for different weather conditions.

And if your cars got one of those weight load compensators (the bit with the spring) then I'd remove that as well.

Quick note though if you are using it as a road car too removing the load sensing valve is an mot fail. Thats if the tester can see there was one fitted standard.
