What are you trying to upgrade about them? Brightness? What do you currently have? Just standatd. And ph3 crystals should be h7.

Has anyone got any photos of their car with the Osram Nightbreakers on?

Thanks guys, might have to purchase some then, what are the Osram Nightbreakers for full beam (H1/H4 etc?) or does H7 cover both full and dipped beam?
26-01-2014, 11:30 AM
If you have Crystals, you need a total of 4x H7 bulbs to do dipped and main in both lights.

If it is your silver HDI then those are phase 3 crystal headlights (ph.2 ones have frosted glass, not clear).
Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs gave me a massive increase in visibility range in shit phase 1 lights. If you don't want to spend loads of money you could just replace the dipped beam ones if you don't use main beam much. In my opinion they are well, well worth the money though.

How H7R bulbs that are properly leveled, isn't half the problem with hids being badly adjusted so they point too high? along with the beam pattern being for projector lights

(06-02-2014, 07:55 PM)lolsteve Wrote: How H7R bulbs that are properly leveled, isn't half the problem with hids being badly adjusted so they point too high? along with the beam pattern being for projector lights The biggest issue is the head light isn't designed to scatter the light correctly. The majority of cars with HIDs use projectors now. In fact, the only one i can think of that doesn't is the new Civic and i always seem to get blinded by them. Regardless of if people think they do or don't blind others, the point is they are illegal and i genuinely wish people that use them to get a full arse raping by the law as it seems every chav in his 1.1 around here fits them and they genuinely are unsafe for other road users!
