God its a pita trying to find out anything on the 106 forums, so il just do it myself and publish it on here lol
306oc ftmfw!! Anyway, I'm currently in the process of trying to find out what gains are to be had from modifying a clio 172 throttle body and injectors or if I should stick with the current j4,maybe just tweak the fuel pressure regulator then get it mapped on a rolling road Basically I'm attempting to build an ultimate n/a setup rather than a flat out power build, as I'm sure if you've ever driven a quick 106, over 200bhp in such a tiny car is just a sure way to kill yourself... Anyway, lots of custom shit and shiney parts coming soon haha

Like having to map in all the little tweaks to get the optimum results rather than just welding something on and seeing what happens haha Too easy to spend money on though :-\

Its a cool way yes but ruddy expensive too...
Just get them blowers on her, keep it low boost and you'll see 200bhp/200ftlbs and still be reliable Wishes for more power...

Decided to go for a mini winter restoration while I was taking stuff off, took some pictures of bits to sort. Mostly just cleaning and painting, plus new radiator, new fans, coolant hoses, gear linkages, engine cleaning, welding, new seats etc etc etc
See how it goes :-) Pictures of some of the bits that annoy me So that's all the rust that needs sorting and repainted/cleaned Stripped the front end off, going to clean the bay and catch any surface rust starting + repaint Painted the ecu tray, scuttle panel, wiper arms, fuse box and wiper motor covers satin black Had a dig through my dad's horde of rally car bits and unearthed these carbon fibre floor trays, almost a perfect fit! Just need to shave the sides down a few cm, but apart from that I'm happy with them

Soo tonight was a fun job, dropping the fuel tank out...
And I definitely don't trust the fuel gauge now haha, apparently it was at the bottom of the reserve fuel but still managed to fill up two petrol cans and spill alot of v power on the floor :-( Ah well lol About an hour of inhaling fumes later I had the tank off and was pleased to see a relatively clean rear bulkhead This hadn't been out in a loooong time Ready for welding now, oh and the rear beam has alot more play than I thought, yet another thing to buy for the restoration :-\ Ooh and I was donated a nice thick slab of aluminium to make an adapter for the throttle body

Decided to attack all the dirt, so starting off in the engine bay then working my way back using a mixture of wire brushes, super strength degreaser, cream cleaner etc.
Anyway, couple of hours scrubbing and the bays already looking smarter :-) Started soaking the block in degreaser too, coming up pretty well, taking the exhaust manifold off soon to clean, Polish and heat wrap Another day at it tomorrow

Looking fab...satisfying work
Get that rear bulkhead all cleaned and coated...seen them rust away there Wishes for more power...

It's going to take so long haha, the one inner wing took me all afternoon haha. But definitely worth it though. Get it all grease free then start attacking the rust and repaint :-)

All it takes is something as big as the gap between the teeth in the pulley :/
Doesnt even own a 306.

Started attacking the dirt in the arches and underside
Pleasingly no major rust However I found this when I ventured underneath :-( Bottom engine mount/steady has ripped away from the body. More bloody welding to do :-(

It doesnt even make much torque! Only a bit more welding, doesnt take that long.
Doesnt even own a 306.

I was pretty surprised to see that too, I expect that kind of thing on a Dturbo, but not on a petrol 106! The engine mounts are all a bit worn, so I expect the increased movement has stressed the metal until it broke
