I was going to take my driver seat out a few days ago but gave up as the front torx is hidden under the seat cowling. Any way around this than to push and shuv my way to the torx.. Also my torx set is like a set of alan keys so maybe i need to invest in new tools.

Take the center console out and undo the torc screws hosting the plastic in. Gives you some flex in the plastic which helps a lot.

make sure you replace those little black things the seat sit on on the centre console side otherwise the seat sits kinda scew wiff and doesnt slide back and forth on the rails properly.
