I took the old shagged beam that came on this apart today with the view to refurb but.......... Its pretty safe to say its totally f*cked and only fit for scrap, beam is dead inside it wouldnt even take a new bearing, the pins are scrap, & the TBs were so tight i had to smash the crap out of the trailing arms to get them out so they are pretty much scrap now,

So plan from here is to just use the 20mm TBs & ARB in the 80k drum beam, not ideal but will not cost me anything & and will give me a gti spec beam but with a good hand brake

No but turns out it was a cabby beam with the tiny ARB . Luckly i have a spare gti arb already

Think some Lions or Challengers would suit it nicely otherwise it looks great! The '6 is the best though...

They were only 8J but they had silly offset because the were space savers and needed 15mm spacers on the front to clear the brakes

I had 17s on it before but I'm just not a fan. I like the look of 15s. But it does need more lows to pull it off. I've got bigger Tbs to go in the beam so I will lower it abit more when I put them in

Nooo the one that came out that HDI beam was the same as yours so im guessing it came from a Cabby at some point lol

small update. fitted my gti torsion bars & Arb to my drum beam last weekend (drives much better now) and whilst i was at it i had to add more lows Smile

Excuse the dirt, currently in winter dirt spec lol

Ah i see well if it helps , they are 195 50 15's and they are onlly a couple mm smaller then my 205 40 17s which im guessing is what you have on atm,
