Don't use a larger washer, unless you're popeye. You'll just make it really difficult to form the bead.

the other change I would say is the 'pinch' point is not far enough allong the grip jaws...meaning you are losing a lot of the leverage of the grips.
see that ebay one...washer is right on the end...makes it a lot easier Wishes for more power...

Ending up welding it permenantly and geting another vice, full time beader now lol.

Err yeah, but the pipe beaded (made from a combine bearing race and the end of a 9mm plunger iirc?! ) was welded to the clamps of the original vice for well over 2 years and pissed everyone off incessantly until you got the other vice!!!!!!
