I was never really good at maths so can some one help here
My bore is 87mm, the ring gap for both rings should be .006" x Bore

87x.006=0.522mm
Ring end gap should be measured with the ring square in the bore on a fresh hone. Cylinder should be free of any taper.

and thats 0.02"?

but is the 006 an inperial measurement if it is you need to convert both into the same units

Yes, 86mm and 0.006 Inch
i know the actual gap will change but will the 0.006 be the same for all wossner piston rings? got a set here, but no info to go with them

From there site 0.006 is for forced induction engines
But pug1off says for my engine "If the top rings are chrome shiny ones go 0.48 there and 0.55mm on the iron middle ring." |
