Hey guys
Seeings as few people have asked, I can put together a group buy for these ARP head studs if enough interest.
Same as these http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-13440.html
Direct fit for XUD.
Price is £200 per set posted, I don't mind posting outside the uk at cost.
Lead time will be a few weeks (could be upto 4/5), and I would need full payment from everyone (but not until we've got enough people) Sounds like a pain in the ass, but there we go.
Will need 6 names to go ahead.

Having these studs will prevent the head lifting on high boost motors. Standard bolts will stretch causing head gasket issues where as these won't

Tom, Do these studs need stock spacers? or do they fit with no spacers at all?
The studs i have need half spacers which i made custom, which is fine for all but 2 of the bolts in my 16v, where i need studs that use no spacers at all to clear the camchain...just wondered if these were flush with no spacer, or if they need the stock spacer...
Let me know...

They take standard spacers + arp washer - so are same length as standard bolts
Here is a pic of them installed on my car

7th is realistically the cutoff, as otherwise we'd be looking at another 4 week lead time on top, and it drags on into the far distance and people get fed up ..etc
samass, what length do you need? As you can see in the pic, they're pretty much bang on replacement for the length of an xud bolt.

185mm irrc, I'll have to double check that tho
And also have to see how much meat I've got to play with in the block/head as the standard ones are are only Pussy thin ones

Also tempted. These can obviously be used more than once? And how do you fit these compared to standard?

Quite likely, ill be honest ive not persoanlly tried on an 8v head, but my studs from my XUD are the same ones im using in my 16v motor...except for to with camchain issues, but obviously thats not an issue on the 8v, sure someone with a hdi head bolt kicking about can confirm, but id be suprised if there different...
