Which pair of speakers?

So the standard Zr ones are total crap ( no surprise ) and I kind of want to loose the 6 " 9 in the rear since the amp takes up boot space and its just additional crappy weight.

My budget is like £20-25 , small but Im not an audio freak just want some nice sound with relatively decent bass.

The edge ones are a Halfords brand are they not? But online they seem to have fairly decent reviews

Iv got some Sony speakers spair pal. Depending how far away you are you can take them pal

I do have a sub but it's now wired up to the kitchen speaker system and I want to reduce the weight so a subs not the right way to go

It's a bit tricky to get "decent" bass without a sub then, as I hate 6x9's so much . How about a smaller sub in a small enclosure? Probably be similar weight...

Cheap comps really won't be up to much, bass wise. I had some Vibes in my old DT which weren't bad, much better than the Flis that replaced them. The magnets were huge though, and didn't fit in the doors...

Well I'm not after windows wobbling bass, just nice decent sound. The current ones are as flat as you can get like on the same level as a phone speaker and once the 6 x9's are on you cant even hear them anymore

Even considered some other standard speakers like from a ford fiesta mk6 since they aren't shabby on mums car with only a Halfords budget head unit - scratch that they are 5 x 7 as standard
