Went out and bought a second hand canon 1000d yesterday. Paid a fraction of what it's worth, and just did a shutter count on it. 363 Confusedhock:

So it may as well be new!

Really chuffed, just need to get some pictures now Smile

Dunno what a shutter count it but a number like that it must be good! Lol

It tells you how many times the shutter has been used (the number of pictures it has ever taken)

How many times the shutter has released...

I.e. how many photos it's taken...

Thats pretty decent! When I bought my D3100 it was a year old, £200 less that RRP and only had like 800 actuations, beautiful Big Grin (It has around 2500 actuations now, in only 2 months, ooops Tongue )
