It's definitely a write off man, both chassis legs are bent and ripped, both inner wings are touching the engine on each side, not sure about the rest of the car but I wouldn't imagine dropping 6ft onto the front would do the shell much good :-\

Il be dropping the engine out next week then keeping it around until I find a good use for it.

Maybe a phase 1 306 estate, always wanted to do that, or I quite fancy another 405

Man I crashed my car I know how you feel bud. Mine wasn't as bad as it had just dented one chassis leg but still £250 pounds just to fix that + £170 for a second hand resprayed bonnet, £15 pound for a new second hand slam panel, £80 for a new bumper since they didn't have any in the scrappy and I needed the car on the road as soon as possible + £50 to sand it and paint it myself. It wasn't worth fixing TBH I only did it because I crashed it in daft circumstances plus the fact that it was my 1st car and I had only had it for 1.8 years at the time!

yeah it proper sucks, it had so much potential. the engine is going to live on though at least.

if i was a proper pikey it could be repaired but I certainly wouldn't be happy driving it after and if it was to be assessed by insurance im certain it would be a full on write off.

gotta live with using the rallye as a daily for now which isnt exactly the worst thing in the world apart from fuel costs lol

the sedan is well and truly finished now, dropped the engine out last night and will be following in the tradition of many of dum-dums old cars in its journey to the scrap yard :p

yeah lol, at least the engine survived, its the main feature of the car really, at the end of the day it was just a pov spec sedan with a random mix of phase 1 and 3 bits all over the place
