yeah right!
I decided after seeing one on my way to work one day that I
had to have an s1 106 rallye in my life as ive had the itch for another petrol for quite some time.
anyway long story short, a tidy s1 rallye came up for sale 15 miles from my house and I had to have it really. some spec and pictures:
1994 Peugeot 106 rallye
TU5JP4 engine conversion (1.6 16v)
original 1.3 short ratio gearbox (makes for awesome b road fun)
106 gti rear disc beam
bilsteins all round
rallye steel wheels wrapped in toyo r888 semi slick tyres
fully stripped interior, one cobra monaco bucket seat and 4 point harness
omp deep dish steering wheel
quick shift
stainless steel race manifold, straight through stainless exhaust and backbox
unlocked ecu
cammed
stripes
future plans:
replace a few bits like strut top bearings and sort a couple of electrical issues for mot (standard peugeot)
tidy it up into a minter, its had a full respray at some point and theres some pretty bad overspray in some places, so just getting things like a new scuttle panel, wingmirrors and indicators
buy another bucket seat for passengers/stuff
roll cage
throttle bodies

Cheers for the love guys haha
I'm a bit in love with it myself, only been about 30 miles in it so far and it's one of the most memorable drives of my life, with the pops and bangs feeling like their denting the boot floor :-D
Haven't had chance to really push it yet but a few spirited corners are enough to let me know it's a proper corner machine, oh and so much love for semi slick tyres

Only one way to find out :-P
It wouldn't have the top end of a '6 due to the gearbox but I'd say it would certainly thrash one in a 0-100 scenario due to how light it is.
It's in a whole different league of acceleration than my 405 mi16 and my phase 1 gti6

Fair play, is it quicker then a 205 running a lucas and TD04L?

It will be easily. My standard 120bhp 106 GTI would stick to a '6 up to 60-70
