And mate, theres some pretty awesome racing/tuning companies round hereford, with rolling roads, get it booked in and get some accurate figures to stop us all arguing
I'm going to sort a proper exhaust and lows out first then chuck it back on the dyno. Maybe organise a shootout day for my 3 cars haha

Well it's not good news :-( the sedan has developed an alarming oil burning habit, going to investigate later but I'm thinking possible turbo failure, overflowing catch tank or worse case scenario, piston rings or something equally sinister

Just a thought, new bonnet now with lining squishing the breather that runs over the top of the inlet?

^^ This.
It doesn't take much to get it burning oil.
I had a kink in the breather pipe on my XUD and it was alarming how quickly it used oil. Re-routed the pipes and never used a drop after that.

Hmmmm, whats the contents of the breather tank at the moment.
Have you checked the bend off the breather at the start as its really tight.
Also have you tried running with the breather open just to test.

I think I've solved it :-)
Where I've had the boost hose off to access the fuel pump for mot yesterday I've put the breather pipe on the wrong side causing it to double back on itself. Gave it a few revs and it seems to be burning without oil :-)

TBF that breather is a PITA, just nowhere sensible to route it.

Yes very true. Thinking of getting a hard 90 degree elbow off the filler neck and some longer hose to route it around the front of the bay instead of over the top

The turbo spools almost instantly and midrange power feels a lot more. But yeah, this has resulted in a bit more 4th gear clutch slip

I'm trying to keep this sensible enough to use daily. Although once it's slammed and looking nice I guess I won't be able to resist the traditional 11mm pump and big turbo
