Wiring up a boost gauge, what wires have you used?

Taken mine off the fag lighter and switched the fuse over so its ignition live.

on the 205 - the cigarette is a constant live.

get a multimeter and test some on the hazard switch

I have no multimeter on me at the moment, the headlight adjust switch has a constant live or ignition live?

Actually doesn't that panel only power up with the headlights?

it's going to be hard to find it.

If i said to you find the green wire on the hazard switch, again, a tough thing to find. You'll be shooting in the dark.

Exactly.

It's hard without testing them Sad

I done mine yesterday on the 205, a couldn't tell you which colour it was Sad

Took mine from the orange wire on the rheostat, that way it dims if you dim your dash lights. I also added a resistor in line to dim it a bit, matches in much better like that IMO.

if you have a wire long enough, go from the dash lights dimmer switch, thats what I always do so you can dim the gauge with the rest of ya dash

Bloke previous to me had spliced straight into the ignition live and then wrapped bare wire around the clutch pedal for the ground. Don't do this. I was very f*cked off to discover it and it took ages to unravel!
