Morning chaps,
The missus has finally gotten round to doing her driving test, and we have no space for 3 cars, so it's time to say farewell to the 306.
Most of you have seen it in real life, either at Ace or FCS last year.
Last winter the headgasket gave way, and I've simply not had the time to do any proper work on it.
Good bits:
- Before headgasket went, it was an excellent runner. Made 140bhp at FCS last year, and that was without a dyno fan, on a hot day.
- Body work is in very good condition.
- Running a Bosch pump, gov modded by Dan!, and a T2 turbo which was boosting well. (Is controlled by a ball-bearing manual boost controller)
- New clutch and cambelt fitted by KrisB! less than 10,000 miles ago.
- Has some MoT left on it, middle of August I think.
- Lowered 100mm at back, 60mm at front.
- Has a factory fit tow bar!
- For those who collect Ed Doe relics, it has a steering wheel which I bought from him.
- A 'carbon fibre' bonnet. Professionally fitted by Niall and Grant.
I've had a looksie, and reckon I can get £130 scrap value. With that in mind, breaking it and selling off the nice bits would get around £250 - £300.
If anyone is interested in taking the whole thing away, just let me know. I'll throw in anything 306 related which I own, even my trusty Haynes manual.
Alternatively, if no one is interested, I'll begin the breaking process.
Cheers chaps,
Toby.

This is 99% true.
The other 1% is crayons.

The wheel is a priceless Ed Doe artifact.
With enough resources, you could harvest his skin cells from the wheel and grow your own Doe!

With the boss included, probs around 4000 yen.
Postage would be around £10 I guess, it's a silly size.

^this. Shares in genuine cambelts and other OEM accessories have plummeted since he started saving for his inevitable Renault repairs.

This will be for collection only by the buyer. Offers around £300 will be considered.

Hiding in my secret bunker, nestled deep in the French Alps, plotting my eventual return to the world of French cars. However, I was out buying a baguette and a string of onions for my Sunday lunch, when I was approached by a small man called Takiyo Motishoni. He told me about cars that were not French. At first I did not believe him, but he abducted me and took me to Japan, where I saw many great things. After several months I managed to escape by hotwiring Takiyo's Mazda, and crept aboard a cargo ship going to America. Arriving safely, I spend several months touring the states finding cheap strip clubs and low price food, but then I run out of money. At this stage, I begin selling myself on the street for sexual favours, although I don't make much money. After being abused by many truckers, I stumble onto a ship bound for Dover, still with the Mazda. I reach the white cliffs and praise Jebus that I made it this far, fire up the Mazda and drive to London. It is at this moment that I realise one simple truth, Japanese cars are more reliable than those made by the cheese eating surrender monkeys. I keep the Mazda, and cherish it, like an infant child. But then I remember, there was a forum! Something about an owners club. I search through my history, sifting through mountains of pornography, and find this website. I login, and see Captain Crayola, Sargeant Ginger, and the gang. And that pretty much leads us to now, if you've read this far then clearly you're as bored as I am.
