What do I do?
I see the same 4walls every night! As most know I recently moved, packed up and am living with a mate! She has friends and goes out a lot, and I'm normally stuck in with f*ck all to do and I know no one.
Haven't had to try and make new friends since school, so how the f*ck do I go about it?
I'm shit in new social situations, crap at just walking up to someone and trying to make new friends, so I actually need some serious help.
No spam or banter. I'm seriously getting myself in a state as thinking I've f*cked up by packing up, and financially ruined myself again to do this move.

Get yourself on websites like Badoo and get chatting to people. It's amazing how quickly you can find like minded reprobates with something in common.
Obviously only make this step in the right direction after trying to beat the impossible 7 wanks a day challenge. You'll have plenty of time to interact online once you've chaffed your man bits red raw and bloody.

7? Man I passed that last week.
The shit thing is I thought if meet new people through work/flat mate/neighbours
Work in a office with 1 person....
Flat mate is out with people younger than her and that's even a push for me...
Neighbours are either a chav/a mum and son/chef(never home)/or some 80ish couple

Ask Toms306. Im sure he can help
Seriously though, any bars near by? Not the sort that have 3 regulars and the music stops and everyone stares when you walk in but perhaps go down the pub, sit at the bar and just chat to people!

Man the pubs here are very locals only! Apart from spoons or Yates.
But walking into one of them on your own either makes you look like an alcy, a crazy man or some sort of perv haha

Go down the locals then. Although you have to be careful with this route otherwise you will end up with going down the pub and getting a skin full every night!

Any car meets/cruises near you? Not gonna be very often obviously but I've met a few people at car meets and cruises, at least you have something in common then.
Alternatively, is there any 'hobby' groups about you could go to.......something like Yoga or Oragami perhaps?

Yeah haha, the locals seem like its 40+ age at the moment.
Going to head out Friday night and see what I can do.
I have no idea about car meets on the iow. You get the local Chavs in Tesco/maccyds but haven't seen any decent meets yet.
Where's Ginge? He will know!
Hand haven't been amputated, but my dick feels like its gunna fall off.
All this was easy when at school/college. What happened to me? Haha

Sounds like me when I was at my uni flat. Atleast at my mum's house I have my car to work on! I don't want to jump onto the online bandwagon, you might be more open minded though.

Lol, I tried parking near the local chavs at Maccys once or twice back when I had a chavvy diablo with multispokes, neons and tints........but I was too scared to go over and say Hi so that plan failed haha.
But at big cruises theres often a few loners walking around nervously lol, either that or I just attract them....but then you have the issue with some of them that won't shut up! Alternatively, race them on the way in to the cruise....met a decent Dubber and his missus like that lol!

In honesty Im really not the person to be taking friend advice from lol....since college I only see people from car forums!
Also, do you smoke? Saying 'dude, got a light' (or something to that effect lol) is how people always used to join the 'gang' at college. Works on films too.... It's a bit awkward doing it if you don't smoke though lol.

Dude you got a light?
*Stands with lighter in hand unsure what to do until pyromaniac side sets fire to a local school*
Luckily for me I do smoke, which yes is a good gateway into a group.
It's a shame they done have many gigs over here. That's where I meet loads of mates as I'm the "drunk" guy everyone remembers

If i was in this situation i would probably join the gym or do something simular and start talking to people, go swimming once a week at the same time or something else similar, or try and get a socialable job one day a week like working in pizza hut
I work in Pizza hut and its brilliant for meeting people, probably the only good thing about it, but if it wasnt for working there I would have a lot less friends.
While i was travelling i had times when I was by myself with nobody to talk to, and i would end up just walking up to strangers and just start talking to them. Bit different when travelling though as everyones in the same boat
But i think joining the gym some sort of sport/anything club would be what i would do

Matt dude I'm in pretty much the same situation. Since I moved my best mate is 30 miles away and my only other friends are a handful of people off here. I cant cope with going out to the pub on my own so the plan I came up with was joining the gym and doing a few classes, nothing too girly but nothing too difficult either but then I realised I don't have that amount of money spare so I'm stumped.
I don't like the idea of meeting people over the internet (although I'm fine with it on here) and TBH I think its made me realise that I'm far too intolerant of people who aren't on my level of awesomeness.
Does your flatmates friends have any older siblings? Might be a plan?

I thought about the gym, but my financial situation will not allow me to do it as I proper broke.
A social job is a good idea, might look for Friday might bar work or something. That's when most people my age are about

An the other does a sports college thing and is on the mainland all the time.
I get on with her cousin, but he's working a lot at the moment, and I haven't got a car too get over to his

Go out with a camera. Video/Ask random people to be your friend. If that fails, tell them it was a social experiment. luls
Then put it on YouTube for mega views, and youll have e-friends!

Thought about going to a local tattoo studio and just hanging out and chatting to an artist lol
