Going to have the beam off and get some heat on it i think, to risky whilst its still attached IMO, especial as the areas that need heat are so close to the fuel tank & brake lines

Na every other estate on this bloody forum has tinted lights, lol, and im not really a fan of tinted lights in genrel TBH, But i REALLY hated how they spoiled the window line with the pink bit on top so had to be done

So today I got on and sorted out my exhaust, it look to have been repaired 4 or 5 times really REALLY shitty welds , what was left of the metal was paper thin all over with more holes than I can count,
So yeah , Im a right tight arse and didn't want to splash on a new system so I cut up an old mid section & a few odd bits of pipe I had , a bit of fettling and a bit of welding later I had something that looked like this vvvvv . so I sprayed it all with some heat resistant fire place paint just to make it last a little longer

05-05-2013, 07:38 PM

Looks good mate. Understand about being practical. Thats why I got a 525 touring. Not to sure on the wheels.

small update.
Done the de cat today using what i had lying around. so just chopped the box out and welded a pipe in. and sprayed with heat resistant paint again. Also took the rest of the exhaust off and painted that up to give it abit of extra life. also it all looks REALLY tidy underneath all painted up

Cheers dude. got loads of aero wipers hanging about just need to get around to it (11-06-2013, 07:41 PM)kingy Wrote: me likey but carnt help thinking either bigger wheels or spacers for the rear. just me. The wheels are 17s!!! 18s would just be silly, but hoping for banded steels and lows when I can afford it, Oh and I got JDM style camber on the beam that makes the arch gap look worse
12-06-2013, 06:01 AM
those 17s look spot on in the flesh....never seen decent 17s on a 306 before
I think I be tempted to paint them satin black though! Wishes for more power...
