I does lol, just none of my dials work atall now but still runs........ what should it do with it unplugged? just be immobilised I guess?
so if this is the case and the ECU is unlocked can I just slap in one of the "black boxes" from any hdi?

if it is yes you can but find one with a matched RCL key circuit board, then you might have a chance of getting your remote locking working
was the key in the ignition when you drilled the hole ?
if it was the ecu might have been in the unlocked state when you fried the black box
in this case the ecu might get a lock signal once you plug in an unpaired box
the simple answer is no one will know what will happen
you might even fry the new box just by plugging it in
dont you wish you used the gromet now instead of the drill

OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH indeed I do !!! I wish id just drilled through the passenger side!! NOTE TO SLEF don't go poking around the back of the dash with a screw driver,
No the key wasn't in the ignition , the car was unlocked but that is it, So I think my next step from here is get down the scrapper and find a matching black box and suck it & see I guess.
1 more question then if I decides it doesn't like the new box and locks itself whats the aftermath of that?
Also I have 1 key and its not a blipper key lol

maybe worth looking for a ecu/box/immo set first off
as if you just buy the black box you could still be looking for the full set after
full set includes
ECU
black box
immo chip from key
rcl circuitboard from key
and the VIN number from the car its off could be handy then you could get the security code for programming new keys

Big mother fucker fuse in the bay, one closest to the front , says in the hand book its the positive for live feed to the internal fuse box,
It wasn't an obvious brake but im not sure how I missed it when checking it the 1st time around

This is why you always check fuses with a multimeter/continuity tester. They can break but not look like it!
