Really helpful, got it next day with free postage. I'm not massively sure on how to fit it, but I'll stumble through it and take plenty of pics. No aircon obviously, think I've twin fans so I might remove one and mount there. See what works I guess ![]()

Aaah nice one ![]() I found this guide on the '6 forum for people who want to keep both fans: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=144293 Just looked over it again, and it appears he's used wire to fix it to the inside of the bumper; not sure I wanna do it that way; I think I'll be using the brackets on the bottom of thecrossmember just under the fan unit, and mounting it that way.. Not sure yet; no doubt I'll work something out when I give it a go. Either that or I'll give up and just go with the wire method in the end after much swearing!!! ![]()

Well snow has preventing this from being fitted so far. Might crack on with it today despite the driveway still being covered in the cold stuff.

Ian Id clear the snow first and get a mat to work on mate
ED stop being such a f*cking pansy, MTFU, my missus could fit an oil cooler
08-02-2012, 06:49 PM
Well it's all done. Didn't bother with a mat. Cold floor FTW. Got tons of cuts on hands due to radiator being made out of razors. And surprisingly the car was harder than I thought, I managed to break some tools on it! Pics to follow when my hands thaw out
