Help!
I noticed yesterday that none of my dash lights up when i turn the lights on. So far, ive linked out the dimmer with no luck and checked the fuses. Im getting 12v from the indicator stalk when the lights are on but i dont have a clue where the wire goes from there. Im getting 0v at the dash dimmer regardless of if the lights are on or not. Any ideas? Ive got several wiring diagrams and they all say completely different things which doesnt help at all!

I had the same problem turned out to be the little plug behind the plate which had the headlight adjusters in!

Getting 0v to the rheostat plug but the light on the headlight adjuster is working which has just made me realise, i was playing with the earth to the head light adjuster the other day. In a weird way, i wonder if that has anythig to do with it!? Will have a play tomorrow.

Finally f*cking fixed it! Turns out the wiring diagrams i had were wrong. The feed for the dash lights went from the stalk to the headlight adjuster light and then onto the rheostat. The wire between the headlight adjuster and rheostat was broken so nice easy fix
Moral of the story. Dont be lazy and try and work off of wiring diagrams. Get the meter out!

Yeah although my OCD is kicking in big time that ive bodged that bit of wire in but the original one comes out of the headlight adjuster and right to the back of the dash, around a bit of plastic then back. May replace it one day!
